The Commodity Sales Team is an integral part of the Corporate Treasury Sales franchise. The team is located in Munich and covers highly professional corporate clients with regards to Commodity Solutions in UniCredit Bank GmbH´s home markets (Germany, France, Iberia, Switzerland, UK and US).
What you’ll be doing
- Origination and implementation of Structured Commodity Transactions with working capital features (physical & cash-settled) for international corporate clients across various commodity sectors (Precious & Base Metals, Energy, Emissions & Soft Commodities)
- Conducting comprehensive risk analysis, including credit, financial sanctions, accounting, legal & tax aspects
- Negotiation of bespoke transaction documentation (DRV, ISDA, EFET, Metal Master Agreements)
- Managing strategic relationships with international corporates and supporting long-term client development initiatives
- Performance / budget responsibility for a defined customer portfolio (domestic and international clients)
- Excellent team spirit in a highly motivated and intense Markets area
- Successful acquisition of new accounts in a highly competitive market
- Close cooperation with structuring & trading units
What you’ll need to succeed
- Distinctive economic and business-oriented know-how as well as in depth knowledge of commodity markets, their products and related derivative transactions (plain to complex)
- Proven track record (>5y) in Structured Commodity Transactions, particularly in the Precious Metals, Energy & Soft Commodities space
- Closely connected to the Precious Metals industry with the ability to build up a solid business case for UniCredit to further expand the commodities franchise
- High financial mathematics skills
- Strong ability to acquire new commodity clients in Germany, France, Iberia, Switzerland, UK and US to reach ambitious revenue targets
- Strong social skills (team player)
- Awareness of regulatory aspects (EMIR, MiFID II, REMIT, Dodd Frank)
- Profound knowledge in accounting, legal & tax topics
- Familiar with Bloomberg & other trade platforms, experienced in Excel/VBA coding
- Master´s degree in economics/financial mathematics with a focus on finance/banking/capital markets
- Ability to withstand meaningful stress level and a sustainable willingness to manage extraordinary workload
- High flexibility & willingness to travel within Germany and Europe
- Excellent English and German language skills mandatory
